Germany: Celebrating the Moon Festival in the City of Dresden
(Clearwisdom.net) Dresden is the capital of Sachsen in Germany. On September 17 and 18, 2005, an autumn festival was held in a shopping centre in the Prohlis district of the city. Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in the activity, which coincided with the Chinese Moon Festival.
The Falun Gong booth was arranged in the busiest part of the shopping centre with big supermarkets and stores on either side. The host had found us some exhibition boards so that our colour posters could be hung in an eye-catching location.

During these two days, practitioners introduced Falun Gong and told people about the cruel persecution against the practice in Mainland China. Some practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises to the peaceful exercise music and others distributed leaflets to passers-by. On the big poster exhibition boards were pictures and descriptions of the Falun Gong exercises, as well as photo illustrations of torture methods used in China against practitioners. On the information desks, practitioners displayed hand-made paper lotus flowers and truth-clarifying materials of all kinds.
Many people stopped to find out more. Some took pictures of the demonstration of the five sets of Falun Gong exercises using mobile phones and cameras; others earnestly read the exhibition boards exposing the persecution. When they found out that those who practice such peaceful exercises are being cruelly persecuted in China, a lot of people were shocked.
They exchanged their opinions with practitioners, asked for leaflets and signed a petition calling for the release of Jiang Renzheng, a Falun Gong practitioner who used to live in Germany but who was deported and has been put into a forced labour camp by the Chinese Communist Party. With great interest, some stood in a line to obtain greeting cards with the words, "The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" written on them by a practitioner.
Within these two days, many kind-hearted German people learned about how the Chinese Communist Party brutally persecutes Falun Gong practitioners. Some expressed their will to help those persecuted in China, some asked for petition forms and leaflets so that they could share the information with their families and friends. And still many more people wanted to learn Falun Gong. Practitioners happily invited them to the local exercise practice site.

The Second Czech Republic and Slovakia Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference was successfully held in the capital city of the Czech Republic, Prague, on October 2, 2005. Falun Dafa practitioners from fourteen countries attended this conference. Falun Dafa founder Master Li Hongzhi sent a message saying that he hopes the conference is a success. When the representatives of the practitioners read out Master Li's message in Chinese, English, Czech and Slovakian, the practitioners in the conference were deeply inspired and gave a thunderous round of applause.

Marek from Slovakia talked about his understanding of Forbearance and righteous thoughts in Fa-rectification cultivation. He talked about Dafa practitioners getting rid of the attachment of "self" and then being able to understand true Forbearance and have righteous thoughts.
A practitioner named Peter talked about his experience of spending his holidays spreading the Fa and exposing the persecution to the local government, media and other departments in six cities.
Some new practitioners from the Czech Republic shared their cultivation experiences of raising awareness of the persecution and also talked about the help and hints they got from Master.
Anna from Ukraine talked about her understandings of how to tell the facts to the governmental departments, media, graduate schools, universities and human rights organizations when in the process of taking part in an organizational discussion.
Pirjo from Sweden shared her understanding of the importance of the "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition" and her cultivation experience in the process of being an exhibition curator.

Many Practitioners Imprisoned at the Nanhuayuan Jail in Fushun City, Liaoning Province
(Clearwisdom.net) The Nanhuayuan Jail in Fushun City, Liaoning Province is located at Nanhuayuan District. Many practitioners from different areas in Liaoning Province are currently illegally imprisoned here, where practitioner Mr. Wang Wenju died in April 2005.

Information about some of the imprisoned practitioners:
A 38-year-old practitioner Mr. Wang Wenju, an English teacher from Tanggou Middle School in Xiuyan County, Liaoning Province, started practicing Falun Gong in 2004. He was arrested in his classroom after clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa and later was sentenced to three years in jail. At the end of March 2005, Mr. Wang was taken to the Shenyang Jail and then transferred to the Nanhuayuan Jail in Fushun City. Mr. Wang was so badly beaten by the guards that on April 25, 2005 he was taken to the Fushun Hospital and died two days later.
Practitioner Mr. Jing Suo from Xinmin City, Liaoning Province, born in 1975, was a professional driver and a spare-time computer technology user. He lived at Xinliu Street, Cheng District in Xinmin City. After attending the Shenyang City Fa Conference on December 29, 2003, he was listed as one of the most wanted persons by the Shenyang authorities. In July 2004, he was arrested by the police, and in September 2004, got sentenced to four years in jail by the Tiehxi District Court in Shenyang City. He is currently imprisoned at the No. 1 division in the Nanhuayuan Jail.
In early October 2004, 48-year-old practitioner Mr. Dong Tingyuan from Tiehxi District, Shenyang City got a three and half year imprisonment sentence, secretly given by the Tiehxi District Court, and was taken to the Nanhuayuan Jail.
A former Zaohua Jail guard, practitioner Mr. Liu Wei from Tiehxi District, Shenyang City, was sentenced to five years imprisonment in May 2000 due to clarifying the facts about Falun Gong and exposing the evil persecution. At first he was imprisoned at the Dongling Jail in Shenyang City, and then on December 25, 2004, he was taken to the "Strictly Monitored Group" at the Nanhuayuan Jail. In February 2005, he went on a hunger strike against the persecution.
At the end of 2003, a 50-year-old practitioner Mr. Fu Mingjie from Wanghua District, Fushun City was released from jail. On July 14, 2004, he was arrested by the police and got sentenced to three years of so-called "reeducation through forced labour." (Mr. Fu's wife was also sentenced to forced labour.) He is currently imprisoned at Nanhuayuan Jail. (Note: Mr. Fu was sentenced for three years in 2000 and imprisoned at the Dabei Jail in Shenyang City.)

Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Expose the Persecution Prior to Hu Jintao's Visit to Germany

On October 27 and 28, 2005, the nationwide tour of a human rights photo exhibition entitled, "Shameful Regions" reached Cologne. The exhibition was held on Rudolf Platz in Cologne central. As the direct victims of the Chinese Communist regime's human rights violations, the Falun Gong group was invited to join the exhibition tour and gave live re-enactments of the tortures to expose the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong.

Mr. Chen Yonglin and Hao Fengjun, who publicly renounced the CCP, were invited to attend the press conference of the photo exhibition. They used their personal experiences to expose the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong. Former Chinese diplomat Chen Yonglin said that his job in the Chinese Consulate at Sydney was to implement the policy to confine Falun Gong practitioners' living space. The Chinese communist regime spent a large amount of money to bribe developing countries, western countries and some small countries so as to make them give up on criticizing CCP's human rights violation.
This is the reason why during the annual human rights convention each year, the U.S. proposed resolution on Chinese Communist regime's human rights status was hindered. Hao Fengjun was a policeman suppressing drug abuse.
Later he was transferred to the municipal 610 Office to monitor Falun Gong. When he witnessed Falun Gong practitioners being brutally beaten, he requested to transfer back to his original work unit. However, the 610 Office did not allow any personnel to quit. After his request was turned down, he had no choice but to flee to another country. His experience indicated that many kind-hearted people in China were coerced to participate in the persecution of Falun Gong.

Hu Jintao, the Chinese Communist Party's leader, will visit Germany in early November. Falun Gong practitioners introduced the news to the German people and collected signatures to appeal to the German President, hoping that he will help stop the persecution of Falun Gong in China. One after another, people passing by signed the petition against the persecution. A number of people expressed their gratitude towards the practitioners for what they have done.
They thanked the practitioners for letting them learn about what is happening in China. At present, Germany and China have a close trade relationship, and some German people believed that the German government would consider the economic interest first. Practitioners explained to them that a healthy trade relationship needs a good social environment. Ending the persecution will help the healthy development of the society that will benefit foreign investors.
There was an interesting episode during the signature collection. A more than one-year-old baby girl came over the exhibition booth by herself. She fixed her eyes on practitioners who were doing the exercises and smiled sweetly for about one minute until her aunt came over to pick her up. Her aunt did not notice the Falun Gong exhibition booth initially, but because of this she had the opportunity to learn about the persecution in China.
She signed the petition and showed her great interest in learning the Falun Gong exercises. Practitioners gave her relevant materials. An older lady was indignant towards the human rights violations after she viewed the photo exhibition. However, when practitioners asked her to sign the petition, she refused. She said that she had signed many similar petitions and now she does not think signing the petition would be effective.
Practitioners introduced the effects of petitions launched in other countries but still could not convince her. In the end, a practitioner gave her a flyer about Falun Gong and told her that she will like it. The lady, who was about to leave, suddenly turned around and held the practitioner's hands and said, "Please don't be discouraged by people like me who have different opinions. What you are doing is right, please be persistent."

| Photo exhibition reveals the true situation about the human rights violations in communist countries |
The two-day photo exhibition concluded. Many German people told practitioners, "It's really a shame. There must be more people coming to visit the exhibition if you could stay at Cologne for a few more days and conduct the exhibition in all districts in Cologne." It was already quite late when the exhibition concluded. When staff members were loading the photos onto a truck, in the street lamps' dim light, some people who walked by still viewed the photos that were not moved to the truck yet. There are so many kind-hearted people who have a sense of justice in the world. Their actions are the greatest form of support against the persecution.
Sweden: Chinese Tourists Learn Facts about Falun Gong in front of the Chinese Consulate

(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of the 1st of October 2005, Falun Gong practitioners unfurled two very large banners outside the Chinese Consulate in Gothenburg, Sweden. One banner read "Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners" while the other one consisted of photos of Falun Gong practitioners who have been persecuted to death in China. Practitioners also demonstrated the exercises, even though the weather was cold and wet.

A number of tourists from Mainland China were curious and remarked: "It's so cold today, what are you doing here?" A practitioner replied: "We are here to peacefully call for a stop to the persecution."
They said: "China doesn't mention Falun Gong anymore." Practitioners answered: "They don't mention it, but that is a surface phenomenon. In fact the suppression of Falun Gong has not stopped, but has become concealed. Our peaceful appeal will continue until the end of the persecution. "A couple of tourists also asked about the persecution and were pleased to get a leaflet.

The 2005 Russian Falun Gong Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference took place in Moscow on October 8th and 9th. Practitioners from many cities in Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, France, America, Sweden, and other countries took part in the Fa-conference. Nineteen practitioners shared their cultivation experiences during the session.
A practitioner from Moscow, Mitsar, talked about reading Zhuan Falun to his severely ailing mother. She improved a lot in body and spirit. His mother experienced the wonder of Falun Gong from the bottom of her heart, so she actively supported him in doing the three things necessary for a practitioner: studying the principles of Falun Dafa, sending forth righteous thoughts, and exposing the persecution in China.
Another practitioner from Moscow, Zwoya, reported her experiences of holding banners and placards with other practitioners in front of the Chinese Embassy for more than a year, urging the Chinese Communist regime to stop the persecution of Falun Gong. She also discussed exposing the persecution to the local police and Chinese residents.
A practitioner from Carlushia talked about her experiences of exposing the persecution for several years in her local area. Another practitioner Nachia, from Irkutsk, sent a written speech because she couldn't be present in person. She talked about getting rid of various types of interference and difficulties while telling the Chinese people living in her area and near the Chinese borders about the persecution. Her name was entered on a "blacklist" which brought difficulties to herself and her family. She was forbidden from entering China with her husband and children.
Lima, a practitioner from Latvia, discussed her understanding that Falun Gong practitioners must do the three things well, and talked about her experience of talking to senior government officials about Falun Gong and the persecution. She also wrote to the President directly to recommend the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, published by the Epoch Times. As a result of unremitting perseverance by practitioners, great effects emerged. The Latvian President replied to her letter in person to express his gratitude.
All practitioners cherished each speaker's experience sharing and encouraged one another. The whole auditorium took on a compassionate and peaceful atmosphere. During the Fa-conference, group Fa-study and exchanges on specific topics were also organized.
