The Aims of the Society
We are making a heartfelt appeal for your support for the millions of Falun Gong practitioners who are facing severe and escalating persecution in China. Their basic human right to freedom of belief has been completely taken away.
The principles followed by Falun Gong practitioners 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance', could be followed even by non-practitioners. In the last two years' persecution, all Falun Gong practitioners have borne the violence with remarkable resilience, fortitude and solidarity in the face of extreme provocation and we feel that their efforts to overcome this tyranny deserve our support. It means a great deal to us to know you would like to support our work.
Your help can have the power to bring about change.
Your help can save lives, prevent suffering, stop killing and torture.
The Aims of the Society are to:
Urge the Chinese authorities to respect freedom of belief;
Provide a platform for people to air their views on the persecution,
Give moral assistance to Falun Gong practitioners
Promote greater awareness of their plight.

Can you imagine how it feels to be assaulted and tortured because you believe in Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance?
Can you imagine how it feels to get expelled from school or to lose your job because you practise a spiritual method?
Can you imagine how it feels to be forced into a mental hospital where you are injected to drugs that destroy your nervous system?
Can you imagine that the regime in China can even stage self-immolation incidents and blame it all on Falun Gong?
Can you imagine that the regime kills decent human beings and reports it as "suicide"? Can you imagine that the regime are even persecuting children and old people, and has killed an 8 month baby and her mother, because they practised Falun Gong?
Can you imagine that vicious and slanderous propaganda and lies are spread all over the world?
Can you imagine how it feels to stand in a park to do exercises for body and soul and then be dragged into a van and later be tortured to death in custody?
Can you imagine how it feels to be forced into a labour camp where you have to work for more than 12 hours a day so that the guards can "reform you"?
Can you imagine how it feels to be forced to write guarantees to give up the practice that has benefited your mind, body and soul?
Can you imagine how it feels to not even read a book that tells you how to be a good person?
Can you imagine how it feels to be regarded as a criminal when you are only doing some exercises and read a book that tells you how to be a true, good human being?
Tears are falling from my eyes as I write these words. I have benefited so much from this practice, both physically and mentally. It is hard to understand that millions of people in China do not have any human rights. Their voices cannot even be heard, because the information to the outside world has been sealed off. It is even harder to understand that more than 300 people have been tortured to death because they wanted to be good people.
I have walked a SOS march of more than 250 kilometres. I have been hunger-striking, participated in candlelit vigils and parades, writing articles in the newspapers and informed people around the world about the persecution in China- all to raise the awareness of the media, politicians and the public. But the persecutions are still continuing and are escalating. The regime even burned a practitioner alive and then called it "self-immolation". A policeman dragged two practitioners to death on a motorcycle. The persecution has reached an insane point.
I hope my tears can wake you up - this is my appeal to all you people of the world - help us stop this persecution of innocent people!
Good is rewarded with good. Evil is met with evil. This is not a new idea - it is the law of the universe. It cannot be changed according to one's will. So everyone has to be held responsible to his or her own actions.
We are all bounded together in this world. I am you and you are me. This matter concerns us all, and if we don't take a stand now, this might end up in another Holocaust. We urgently call upon China to end this brutal persecution against Falun Gong and its practitioners.
"The outmost tragedy is not the evil people's brutality, but the good people's silence", as Martin Luther King put it.

Persecution of Falun Gong: A Tragedy for the whole of China and a Chance for Europe to Defend Human Rights
President Jiang Zemin, who is responsible for the crackdown, has brought out the worst in people by manipulating their fears and weaknesses and using these to harm others. Those that are greedy for money are given financial inducements to participate in the persecution, those that crave power and recognition are given awards and promotions as reward for torturing and killing, criminals and sadists are given free reign to abuse Falun Gong practitioners and those who are afraid of the bullying nature of Jiang's regime are cowered into submission. European countries have not escaped his negative influence either. His trips to Europe forced individual governments to compromise the freedoms of their citizens and the integrity of their laws. This caused ill feeling and discontent amongst the general public. We hope all European citizens and our representatives in power can step forward to condemn the indefensible persecution of Falun Gong as well as to stand up for the right to believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, which are the basic tenents of Falun Gong.
